What is a Live GoToWebinar?
A Live GoToWebinar is a live CE presentation using a video conferencing platform, external to the IR platform, accessed through your computer, or mobile device, for a real-time visual presentation and audio, delivered on the Web. For GoToWebinars, it is recommended that you download the GoToWebinar software or app to your device. To download GoToWebinar, click the following link:
American Association of Nurse Practitioners typically archives all of its live online events. If you register for the Live GoToWebinar, but miss the live broadcast, it will be archived and available in your account on our site, typically within 3-5 business days. It will also be equally valid for credit. In rare rare occurrences, it can take up to 30 days for the archive to become available, but t usually does not take more than a week.
*For all live events, only the registered participants who login at the time of the program will receive live credit. Others in your office may listen in, but they must purchase their own copy of the course and watch separately if they wish to receive credit.
What is an OnDemand program?
An OnDemand program is a recording of a webinar or webcast event that is accessible at your convenience; They are delivered on the Web, through the InReach viewer and this format may be paused or stopped, and if you choose, taken in segments over time. Since these play directly through any current browser, there isn't any additional software to download or install.
What is a CEtoGo or Podcast?
A CEtoGo or Podcast is a downloadable audio-only seminars that you can listen to on your portable device or on your computer, online or offline. In order to receive credit, you must verify your participation. During each quarter of the program, a unique code in the form of an individual letter will be announced. When you have completed the program, return to your online products page and click on the certificate link associated with the program. You will then be required to enter all 4 letter codes before receiving your certificate of participation.
NOTE: In order to listen to the audio MP3 file offline on a mobile device, you would first need to download the file to a computer, connect your phone to your computer, and use the appropriate transfer software for your mobile device.

Technical
What are the minimum system requirements for viewing a program online?
- Windows- X86 or X64 (64-bit mode support for IE only) 1.6-gigahertz (GHz) or higher processor with 2GB RAM.
- Mac - Mac OS 10.5+(Leopard) (Browsers must be in 32-bit mode), an Intel Core Duo 1.83-gigahertz (GHz) or higher processor with 2GB RAM.
- Internet – A Cable or DSL internet connection providing 5-10Mbps is highly recommended for the best streaming experience.
- VPN and Remote Desktop connections are not supported. You must be connected to the online CE Center directly through your network.
- Important – If you will be accessing any of the online content at a work location, it is HIGHLY recommended that you first check with your IT department or Network Administrator to make sure that you have appropriate permissions to install programs and/or the ability to access streaming media.
- Recommended Internet Browsers include Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge (Microsoft's new browser). Please, do not use Internet Explorer. Microsoft is withdrawing support for Internet Explorer, and the problems with it will only continue to escalate, not only on our website but on all websites.
- Browser settings – Ensure that pop up blockers are turned off; Private or Incognito browsing modes are turned off; your browser should be set to remember history and also allow for cookies from websites.
What do I do if I do not meet the minimum system requirements?
You may want to access your course content from a different device, network, or location if you do not meet any of the previously listed requirements.
If there is no other option, check to see if the catalog offers the course that interests you as a podcast or CEtoGO. This is a downloadable audio-only format that is much less demanding and can also be transferred to mobile devices, making it a very viable alternative.
When I click on the “Play” button, nothing happens. What should I do?
When you click the green 'Play' button, it will launch the viewer in a new window. If you are clicking the "Play" button and window is not opening, more than likely the viewer window is already open. Please check all open and/or minimized windows. If you are still experiencing any problems after checking, please call our support line at 877-880-1335 for immediate assistance.
